Amazon Cancels iRobot Deals

Amazon has cancelled its planned purchase of Roomba maker iRobot, saying the deal is facing "undue and unjustified regulatory obstacles." The company will pay iRobot the breakup fee of $94 million.

The acquisition was deemed to be anti-competitive by European Commission (the EU's executive arm, and the highest antitrust enforcement agency).
