The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're seeking a robot cleaner with mop vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the push of one button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough maps of your space to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping robot vacuum cleaner feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right, such as the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's a lot of items that need to be removed frequently, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum and mop for multiple floors known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The best amazon robot vacuum and mop is still quite large. It is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect different types of flooring, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are useful, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than what some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The control panel has a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can alter how the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4% of debris from our test on the hard floor and taking out all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
