The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the click of one button. You can select an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This best robot vacuum for large house vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only downside is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small price to pay if you want to get one of the best cleaning robot vacuum and mop robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters a wall or furniture piece it gently smacks into it and then moves along.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and cleans and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong like low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different floor materials or if there's clutter that needs to be cleared out regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can also clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you could need. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best robot floor mop known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even if you are not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a range of convenience features that you don't often see on robots in this price. It can build precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum mop cleaner robot cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum mop robot cleaner and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4% of debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
