1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its extremely nimble handling and foldable design that can be tucked away in aeroplane overhead luggage. The most recent version features independent suspension on all four wheels made from Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

The base YOYO2 frame along with the curved fabric bassinet and 6+ month colour pack come together to form a stylish pushchair that is easy on the eyes with a subtle yet elegant design and stylish branding. The frame's base weight is less than a kilogram, and is so light that you can lift it out of the box with one hand.

It's also easy to attach or remove attachments or adaptors - the hood, for instance, snaps on to the YOYO2 by clicking and is machine washable at 30deg to remove stains from smushed rice cakes and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as prams. It can also be converted to a stroller by 6 months using the YOYO connect other chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great option for parents who want an adaptable stroller wagon. It can be converted from a stroller into a wagon just by flipping the handle, so parents can pick the option they want to use on their adventure. The wagon can hold one or two kids from 6 months to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket to accommodate everything you need on the go.

The Xplore also has two canopies that move from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than some wagons. This isn't ideal for long drives or napping.

The frame on the Xplore is solid and sturdy but it doesn't have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition, and it does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move, though, and it can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a secondary stroller that is affordable. It scored highly in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to move and store in a trunk for your car. It also comes with a multi-position reclined seat and cup holders for the parent. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

In our test of the push and turn it performed better than many of the other cheap strollers we test, but it's not the most comfortable to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top of the stroller and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

It took us just under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta with a manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. However, it is missing some essential features that we think you should not compromise on in a double stroller, like a large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the newest model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is described as an urban travel system. It is designed to accommodate baby from birth up to around 3.5 years, converting easily between a seat and a carrycot in just a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats, and comes with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.

It is really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat and the super large shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. This compact pushchair can handle everyday bumps and doorways effortlessly.

The front wheels can be locked into forward positions or let them swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate during our walk on the stony path. It handled the situation well, even though it felt to be a bit more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers that we test, but since it has composite wheels made of rubber, it feels sturdy and well-made. It's a breeze to maneuver across all kinds of terrain, and it's easy to carry even with two children and a shopping bag.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that are able to be lower to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

The wheels are tough and foam-filled which minimises punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension that takes the sting out of rough terrain. Our tester found it smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It can also stand and be carried by trolley for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system comes included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors included. The brakes are easy to use, using a single standing stroller colored and flip-flop-friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single push chair pushchair is extremely easy to use and features excellent dual suspension, a one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also extremely light and durable. The seat is reclined in many positions and has a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro and could cause sleepy babies to wake up.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be set up to accommodate twins or siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even works with some carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can face one another or be turned around to face their parents, potentially reducing sibling fights over who gets to sit with mom and dad. It has a huge bottle holder, gear tray snack tray, and an adjustable mat. It also has an automatic frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.
