The BOB Sport Utility

The BOB Sport Utility is the best lightweight stroller for rough terrain stroller for parents who want to get away from the main roads and get some exercise. The jogging stoller features pneumatic knobby wheels that are ideal for trail runs, and the handbrake allows you to manage the downhills. It also comes with a state of the-art suspension system, a two-step folding, and a huge cargo basket. If you buy the correct adapters you can use it with the child car seat.

The main flaw of this jogging stroller is its weight and fold dimensions. It weighs 25 lbs and folds to 17,850 cubic inches, which is the average for this group of strollers. Its size means it's not ideal for narrow turns or trunk spaces, but it has a small handle on the back of the storage basket that can be pulled to fold it into a compact, flat position.

Despite its bulk, this stroller remains easy to move around. The front wheel comes with a locking mechanism, which lets you switch between locked and normal mode. The handlebar can be adjusted to different parent heights. It has a large seat that can be reclined to almost flat, as well as an enormous vinyl peekaboo window.

Another big plus is the Sport Utility's remarkable quality, which has earned it a rating of 9 out of 10 in this metric. It has a thick aluminum frame that has tight connections and no rough edges or poor stitching. It also has adjustable shocks which helps with the smooth-rolling performance.

Like the other BOB strollers in this review the Sport Utility has optional car seat adapters that let you use it with various infant car seats. In our tests, it took us about 5:24 minutes to assemble this stroller from unpacking to being ready to go. The assembly was easy however, you'll require a Philips screwdriver. The instruction manual is well-organized and easy to follow, however it's a good idea to keep one in your case.

The Baby Trend Expedition

This jogger is made with safety, style and convenience as its primary goals. It has a tray for parents that has two cup holders and covered storage, as well as the child tray which can be swung away and has two cup holders. The adjustable canopy with a peek-aboo window and the extra-wide ergonomically shaped handle are comfortable for both parents. The locking front swivel can be locked for jogging and unlocked for strolling. The large storage basket is able to hold essential travel items.

The instructions are confusing, with multiple languages mixed together and difficult-to-understand illustrations.

The only downside to this jogger is the lack of suspension. This means that the ride may be bumpier than other strollers that are all-terrain. This can be difficult for children with small hands especially when their nap is about to start. It does have air-filled tires but they don't have the same shock absorption like the rubber wheels that are found on strollers that are more expensive.

This is a great choice for people who don't plan to run often however want to move across grass and gravel without difficulty and without issues with curbs or other obstacles. It is also a great option for families who have little space, since it folds into a relatively compact unit. It's lighter than a lot of the other strollers we've tested and fits into spaces that some full-size strollers won't.

It is also easier to lift and move than the heavier joggers we have tried. This can be important if you have to lift it into and out of the trunk of your car regularly or if you're always on the go.

This latest version of Out 'n' About's three-wheeled jogging stroller was specifically designed for jogging and comes with large 16'' pneumatic alloy tyres to tackle even the most difficult paths and tracks. The Nipper is also lightweight and compact, making it simple to fold and carry.

This pushchair is equipped with a handlebar as well as front suspension, making it ideal for double all terrain buggy terrains. It comes with an adjustable quilted liner that can be removed and a multi terrain pram-position recline, as well a 5-point safety harness that is padded and hinged bar. Another issue with this pushchair is the lack of a storage bin underneath the seat. It does have a small grocery pouch to the rear of the seat, but it would not be large enough to accommodate an enormous changing bag. It is, however, extremely easy to unfold and close, with just two hands needed to release the plastic catches that are on either side of the lower frame. There is a third lock catch on the handlebar in red which can be opened by one hand, making it extremely easy to use.
